Open Certify
Open the OTF demo and make sure Certify is selected at the top of the page.
Certify and verify PDF documents on the fly. The current demo combines a specific document, a named test user, an open-banking workflow and a publicly verifiable cryptographic record.
At a glance
The OTF demo is designed as a single, account-free process. Start with your PDF and finish with a new ROCKVALID PDF that can be checked against its public proof.
Certify
Keep the ROCKVALID page open while you complete the selected provider's sandbox flow.
Open the OTF demo and make sure Certify is selected at the top of the page.
Select Upload PDF or drag one PDF into the browser window. ROCKVALID prepares a document preview.
Check that the preview shows the correct, complete document. The final proof will relate to this exact PDF version.
Enter the first and last name displayed for the provider: Tommy Sternen-Himmel for finAPI or John Sandbridge for TrueLayer.
For finAPI GiroIdent + Payment, the entered name must match the account-holder name returned by finAPI.
Open Choose a test bank and select the payment provider and demo flow you want to test. The current options are listed in the table below.
Select Start certification. ROCKVALID opens the provider's sandbox in a separate window or redirects you to it, depending on the selected flow.
Sign in with the sandbox credentials shown on the Certify page and complete the requested identity and/or payment steps. Do not close the original ROCKVALID page.
Once the required provider checks are confirmed, ROCKVALID creates the document fingerprints, associates the process data with the document and publishes the proof in the current blockchain test environment.
When Certification complete appears, select Download certified PDF and save the file. This downloaded file—not the original upload—is the ROCKVALID document intended for verification.

Provider options and credentials can change during the test phase. Always prefer the details currently displayed on the Certify page.

Verify
Verification uses the downloaded ROCKVALID PDF and compares it with its public cryptographic proof.
Return to the OTF demo and select Verify at the top.
Upload the file downloaded at the end of certification. Verification begins after the document is selected.
Check whether the document matches its proof and review the displayed name, timestamp and public blockchain record. Any subsequent modification of the certified PDF invalidates verification.
Do not rely on a screenshot of a verification result. Verify the actual ROCKVALID PDF whenever the result matters.
Meaning
ROCKVALID is currently not a qualified trust service provider and does not provide a qualified electronic signature under eIDAS. Do not use the demo as a substitute for a legally prescribed signature or notarisation form.
Security & privacy
The public blockchain proof uses cryptographic verification data; it does not publish the contents of your PDF. The demo is still under development, and provider flows or test environments may change.
Select a document. Complete the test provider flow. Download the ROCKVALID PDF. Verify the result independently.
