Nature of the service

ROCKVALID OTF

ROCKVALID develops digital document-certification and verification systems. The current OTF demo connects a specific PDF with recorded process data and a compact public blockchain proof. Depending on the selected workflow, an external open-banking provider may be used for a name check, payment initiation or both.

Payment initiation alone is not necessarily an identity verification. The precise checks performed depend on the selected provider workflow and the data returned in that process.

ROCKVALID is not currently a qualified trust service provider and does not provide a qualified electronic signature under the eIDAS Regulation. ROCKVALID does not provide legal advice. Whether a ROCKVALID record is suitable for a particular legal purpose depends on the document, applicable law and any mandatory form requirements.

Current status

Public demo environment

The current OTF service is a test and development version. Provider workflows, sandbox credentials, proof formats, blockchain environments and user interfaces may change. Use only the test data shown on the Certify page and do not use the demo as a substitute for a legally required signature, notarisation or qualified electronic signature.
